The story
Jacob loves his son Joseph more than his other sons, and gives him a tunic of many colors. His brothers hate him for it. When Joseph tells them his dreams, they hate him more.
Far from home, the brothers throw him into a pit and sell him to traders on their way to Egypt. There Joseph is a slave, then a prisoner, until Pharaoh has a dream no one can explain.
Years later, his brothers come to Egypt hungry and bow to a ruler they do not know. It is Joseph.
