Who we are

Bible Epic is operated by Odin Studio Inc., a Canadian federal corporation, corporation number 1815990-4, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Email: collins@odinstudio.ca.

In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Odin Studio Inc. "You" means the person using Bible Epic.

What Bible Epic is

Bible Epic tells the Bible's stories as short drama series. The episodes are made and voiced with AI and follow the Bible's text. Lines the Bible does not record are dramatized. Scripture quotes are from the World English Bible.

Who can use it

You must be old enough to agree to a contract where you live. If you are not, a parent or guardian must read these terms and agree to them for you.

Using the app

Watch for your own use. Do not copy, record or resell the episodes, and do not try to break the app or get around its locks.

Churches, schools and small groups may show episodes free at events that charge no admission, on the conditions on our churches and groups page.

Membership

Episodes 1 to 8 of every series are free. Membership or coins open the rest. These rules apply:

  • Paying. Google Play takes every payment. The price, any free days and the renewal price are shown on Google Play's sheet before you pay. A plan renews until you cancel.
  • Cancelling. Open your subscriptions in Google Play, tap Bible Epic, then tap Cancel subscription. Nothing more is charged, and you keep what you paid for until the end of that period.
  • Refunds. Within 30 days of a plan charge, write to us and we refund it in full, no questions. From day 31 to day 60, a plan charge under US$150 is refunded when you ask, and a person answers any other request within 24 hours. You can also ask Google Play for a refund.
  • Coins. A coin pack is refunded in full within 30 days while none of its coins are spent. If a coin pack is refunded, its coins come off your balance and the episodes bought with them that you have not opened lock again. Episodes you have opened stay open. Bonus coins (from a check-in, an ad or an offer) are spent before coins you buy and end 7 days after they arrive. Coins you buy never expire. A refunded pack takes its bonus coins with it.
  • On iPhone. Apple takes every payment in the iPhone app, and its sheet shows the price, any free days and the renewal price before you pay. To cancel, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap Bible Epic, tap Cancel Subscription. With Apple, cancel at least 24 hours before your plan renews. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple refunds a coin pack, its coins come off your balance and the episodes bought with them that you have not opened lock again.

Buying on the website

  • Paying. On the Bible Epic website, Stripe takes the card payment for Odin Studio Inc. The price, the first price and the renewal price are shown on one line before you pay. A plan renews until you cancel. It shows as BIBLEEPIC on your card statement.
  • The plans. Yearly: US$4.99 for 7 days, then US$179.99 a year. Weekly: US$15.99 a week for the first 2 weeks, then US$19.99 a week.
  • Cancelling. Every receipt has a cancel link. One tap cancels, with no sign in, and nothing more is charged. You keep what you paid for until the end of that period. Signed in, Your plan has the same button.
  • Refunds. Within 30 days of a plan charge, the refund link in your receipt refunds it in full, no questions. From day 31 to day 60, a plan charge under US$150 is refunded the same way. A coin pack is refunded in full within 30 days while none of its coins are spent.
  • Gift a Year. US$179.99, one payment, it does not renew. It opens every series for a year in the account it is redeemed into, and it is refunded in full within 30 days while it is not redeemed.

Reports

If something is wrong to scripture or offensive, tap Report on the episode, or Report a problem in Settings. We review every report within 2 days and fix or remove what is wrong.

What we promise, and what we do not

We promise to take proper care in running Bible Epic, to charge you only what the payment sheet showed, and to refund you as these terms say.

We do not promise that Bible Epic is always available, that it has no faults, or that it does a job it was not made for.

We are not responsible for a loss that neither you nor we could have expected when you started using Bible Epic, or for a loss caused by something outside our control.

Nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law where you live gives you as a customer and that cannot be signed away.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and the laws of Canada that apply there. If the law where you live says you may use your own courts or your own consumer law, these terms do not change that. If something is wrong, write to collins@odinstudio.ca first.

Changes to these terms

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. We do not make changes quietly.
